1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Blueloop Limited ("Blueloop", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Senserity website (senserity.co.uk) and the Senserity platform (app.senserity.co.uk).
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data more broadly.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.
Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded in the website ("third-party cookies"). Cookies may last for the duration of your browser session ("session cookies") or persist on your device until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies").
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies differently on the Senserity platform and the Senserity website.
3.1 Senserity Platform (app.senserity.co.uk)
The Platform uses only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for its operation. These cookies do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session token | Maintains your authenticated session after you sign in. Without this cookie, you would need to sign in on every page. | Strictly necessary, first-party | Expires at end of session or after configured session timeout |
| Active tenant | Remembers which organisation you were last viewing, so you return to the correct context when you next sign in. | Strictly necessary, first-party | Expires at end of session |
| CSRF token | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks by verifying that form submissions originate from the Platform. | Strictly necessary, first-party | Expires at end of session |
The Platform does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies. We do not track your browsing behaviour within the Platform for marketing purposes.
3.2 Senserity Website (senserity.co.uk)
The marketing website uses strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie consent preference | Remembers your cookie consent choice so you are not asked again on each visit. | Strictly necessary, first-party | 12 months |
Analytics cookies (consent required):
We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the Senserity website, which pages are most popular, and how visitors navigate between pages. This helps us improve the website and the information we provide.
Analytics cookies are only set if you consent via the cookie banner presented on your first visit. If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set and your browsing is not tracked.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [Analytics provider cookies to be listed once provider is confirmed] | Measures website traffic, page views, visitor sources, and browsing patterns. | [Provider name] | Analytics, [first/third]-party | [Duration] |
This table will be updated once the analytics provider for senserity.co.uk has been confirmed.
We do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors. Analytics data is used in aggregate form to understand overall usage patterns.
4. Third-Party Cookies
4.1 Platform
The Platform does not set any third-party cookies. Authentication with Google and Microsoft Entra ID is handled through redirect-based OAuth flows; any cookies set by Google or Microsoft during authentication are set on their own domains, not on app.senserity.co.uk.
4.2 Website
If you consent to analytics cookies, the analytics provider may set cookies on your device as described in Section 3.2. No other third-party cookies are used on the Senserity website.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies on either the Platform or the Website.
5. Your Choices
5.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit senserity.co.uk, a cookie banner will ask for your consent to analytics cookies. You can:
- Accept analytics cookies — they will be set and used as described above.
- Decline analytics cookies — only strictly necessary cookies will be used.
You can change your preference at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer.
5.2 Browser Settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are set on your device.
- Delete some or all cookies.
- Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies.
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies on app.senserity.co.uk will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly — you will not be able to maintain a signed-in session.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
5.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal with browsing requests. The Senserity Platform does not use tracking technologies and therefore does not need to respond to DNT signals. The Senserity Website respects your cookie consent preference as described above, regardless of DNT settings.
6. Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, websites may use similar technologies such as web beacons (tracking pixels), local storage, and session storage. Our use of these technologies is as follows:
- Local storage / session storage: The Platform may use browser local storage or session storage for client-side application state (such as UI preferences or temporary form data). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Web beacons: We do not use web beacons or tracking pixels on the Platform or Website.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly when we add or change analytics providers or introduce new website functionality. The current version is always available on the Senserity website.
If we introduce new categories of cookies (for example, if we were to add advertising cookies in the future, which we have no current plans to do), we will update this policy and request your consent through the cookie banner before setting such cookies.
