1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Blueloop Limited ("Blueloop", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Senserity website (senserity.co.uk) and the Senserity platform (app.senserity.co.uk).
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data more broadly.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.
Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded in the website ("third-party cookies"). Cookies may last for the duration of your browser session ("session cookies") or persist on your device until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies").
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies differently on the Senserity platform and the Senserity website.
3.1 Senserity Platform (app.senserity.co.uk)
The Platform uses only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for its operation. These cookies do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

The Platform does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or retargeting technologies, and we do not track your browsing behaviour within the Platform for marketing purposes.
The Platform does use two service providers that receive information about how it is used and how it fails. Neither stores or reads anything on your device, so neither sets a cookie and neither requires consent under PECR:

Product analytics and session replay do not operate on the attestation respondent portal. Error monitoring does run there, so that a fault preventing a respondent from submitting can be detected and fixed; the respondent's access link is removed from those reports before transmission. Neither provider receives the contents of your watchlists, your attestation responses, your uploaded documents or your notes.
Both are described in Section 6.1 of our Privacy Policy, and you can object to either by emailing legal@senserity.co.uk.
3.2 Senserity Website (senserity.co.uk)
The marketing website uses no cookies at all.
We use Plausible Analytics to measure how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, does not store or read anything on your device, does not collect personal data, and does not build profiles of individual visitors or follow them across websites.

Because the website sets no cookies and collects no personal data through analytics, no cookie consent banner is presented and none is required under PECR or the UK GDPR.
4. Third-Party Cookies
4.1 Platform
The Platform does not set any third-party cookies. Authentication with Google and Microsoft Entra ID is handled through redirect-based OAuth flows; any cookies set by Google or Microsoft during authentication are set on their own domains, not on app.senserity.co.uk.
The Platform does send data to two third-party providers, Sentry and PostHog, as described in Section 3.1. Neither sets a cookie on app.senserity.co.uk and neither stores anything on your device.
4.2 Website
The Senserity website sets no third-party cookies. Plausible Analytics, described in Section 3.2, operates without cookies.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies on either the Platform or the Website.
5. Your Choices
5.1 No Cookie Banner
Neither the Website nor the Platform sets any cookie that requires your consent, so no cookie banner is presented. The only cookies used are the strictly necessary Platform cookies listed in Section 3.1, which are required for you to stay signed in.
If you would prefer that we did not collect product analytics about your use of the Platform, email legal@senserity.co.uk and we will exclude your account. This is your right to object under Article 21(1) of the UK GDPR, and we will act on it without asking you to justify it.
5.2 Browser Settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are set on your device.
- Delete some or all cookies.
- Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies.
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies on app.senserity.co.uk will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly — you will not be able to maintain a signed-in session.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
5.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal with browsing requests. Neither the Senserity Website nor the Senserity Platform uses cookie-based or cross-site tracking, so there is no cross-site behaviour for a DNT signal to switch off. Product analytics on the Platform can be disabled for your account on request, as described in Section 5.1.
6. Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, websites may use similar technologies such as web beacons (tracking pixels), local storage, and session storage. Our use of these technologies is as follows:
- Local storage / session storage: The Platform may use browser local storage or session storage for client-side application state, such as UI preferences or temporary form data. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers or to any third party. Our error monitoring and product analytics providers are configured not to use local or session storage at all.
- Web beacons: We do not use web beacons or tracking pixels on the Platform or the Website. Links in our outbound marketing emails carry a code identifying the message, as described in Section 5.4 of our Privacy Policy, but we do not use tracking pixels to record whether an email was opened.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly when we add or change analytics providers or introduce new website functionality. The current version is always available on the Senserity website.
If we introduce new categories of cookies (for example, if we were to add advertising cookies in the future, which we have no current plans to do), we will update this policy and request your consent through the cookie banner before setting such cookies.
