Adding your first company
How to find a UK company and add it to your Senserity watchlist.
This guide walks you through adding a company to your watchlist. Once a company is on your watchlist, Senserity enriches it and begins monitoring it continuously.
Before you start
You need an active Senserity account. If you are on the Free tier, your watchlist is limited to a small number of companies. Check the Subscription tiers page for the limit for your plan.
Steps
-
Open the Companies page from the sidebar.
-
Select the Search tab at the top of the page.
-
Type the company's name or Companies House number into the search box. Searching by company number is more reliable, so if you know it, use it.
-
Results appear as you type, drawn from the Companies House register. Find the company you want in the list. Each result shows the company name, number, status, and registered address.
-
Click Add on the row for the company you want.
-
The company moves to your Watchlist tab with an "Enriching" status. Enrichment typically takes a few minutes. Once it completes, the company shows its risk grade and score.
Tips
If you can't find the company by name, try the Companies House number. You can find it on any letter from Companies House, or by searching find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk directly.
If the company shows as "Dissolved", you can still add it. Senserity will enrich it from historical filings, but it will not be monitored for changes since a dissolved company no longer files.
If you need to add many companies at once, contact us at support@senserity.co.uk. Bulk imports are available for Pro and Enterprise plans.
What happens next
After enrichment completes, Senserity runs all applicable insight tests and produces an initial score and grade. You will receive an alert if any significant findings are detected during the first enrichment run.
