Exploring the company evidence tabs
A walkthrough of the five evidence tabs on a company profile, what each one shows, and how to turn them into a shareable report.
Alongside the scored risk categories, every company profile carries five evidence tabs. These present the underlying source data directly, with no scoring or interpretation applied. This guide covers what each one shows.
Viewing an evidence tab does not cost credits.
Credit
Available on Starter and above.
The Credit tab presents the Creditsafe view of the company. At the top is a credit banner with the credit rating badge, risk score, probability of default, and recommended credit limit.
Below that, payment behaviour shows days beyond terms against the industry benchmark, with an aged debt chart breaking down how overdue the company's payables are. County court judgements and insolvency events are listed in full where present.
A group and contact card shows the company's position in any wider group structure along with registered contact details. Companies with very large numbers of trading addresses show the first few with a total count.
Monitoring events from Creditsafe appear at the bottom where the company is under active monitoring.
If your plan does not include this tab, you will see a teaser explaining what it contains.
Financials
Available on all plans.
The Financials tab shows the company's filed accounts. The centrepiece is an annual accounts table covering up to five filed periods side by side, grouped into three sections: profit and loss, balance sheet, and workforce.
Each period carries badges recording how it was filed — the filing type, whether the accounts were audited, and whether the figures were extracted from structured iXBRL data or from a PDF. This matters when comparing periods, because a small company filing abridged accounts discloses less than one filing full accounts.
A View Filing link on each period opens the original document as filed at Companies House.
Above the table, financial performance and ratio trend charts plot the same underlying figures over time.
People & Governance
Available on all plans.
This tab is a state-of-play view rather than a history — for appointments and resignations over time, use the Timeline tab.
A summary strip gives officer and PSC counts. The officers table lists current officers, with former officers behind a toggle. Each officer shows their Companies House identity verification status, introduced under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act.
The ownership and control section lists persons with significant control, including corporate PSCs, with their natures of control shown as chips. Where a corporate PSC sits at the top of a longer ownership chain, follow it through on the Network Maps tab.
A per-person screening matrix shows each individual against sanctions, disqualification, and adverse media checks. A clear result and a check that has not been run are shown differently — an empty screening result means the person was screened and nothing was found.
A company-level adverse media card shows any articles matched to the company itself, with per-category hit counts and a match confidence indicator. Article headlines link to the source; article text is not reproduced.
Compliance & Legal
Available on Self-Assessment and above.
This tab consolidates three related areas.
Certifications and accreditations covers ISO certificates, Cyber Essentials, SSIP schemes, and similar recognised standards, with issue and expiry dates where published.
Statutory disclosures covers obligations that fall on companies above certain thresholds: modern slavery statements, gender pay gap submissions, ICO registration as a data controller, and sector registrations such as FCA or FSA where relevant.
Legal exposure covers gazette notices, county court judgements, insolvency events, and court and tribunal decisions.
Resolved and historical entries remain visible. Senserity treats a resolved judgement as useful context rather than something to be hidden once settled.
Cyber
Available on Self-Assessment and above.
The Cyber tab shows the external-facing security posture of the company's web and email infrastructure. Nothing here involves scanning internal networks or testing defences — it is all publicly observable configuration.
Sections cover email authentication (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records and their policies), SSL/TLS and certificate posture, HTTP security headers, website and hosting configuration, and domain and reputation checks. A certified posture summary shows Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 status alongside the technical findings.
This tab depends on a web and email scan having been run for the company. If no scan has taken place, or the company has no website on record, the tab says so — that is different from a scan that ran and found nothing wrong.
Turning a tab into a report
Each evidence tab has a matching PDF evidence report containing the same data.
Click Generate Report in the company header while an evidence tab is open, and the matching evidence report is preselected in the dialog. Generating it costs credits in the usual way.
See Running a PDF report for the full process, and Evidence reports explained for guidance on when to use an evidence report rather than an assessment report.
