Switching between organisations

A single Senserity account can belong to more than one organisation. This is common if you are a consultant working across multiple clients, or if your business has separate Senserity organisations for different teams or regions.

Switching organisations

1. Click your organisation name or avatar in the top bar or sidebar. This opens the organisation switcher.

2. A list of the organisations you belong to appears. Each shows the organisation name and your role within it.

3. Click the organisation you want to switch to. The interface reloads with that organisation's data: its watchlist, alerts, reports, and settings.

What stays the same when you switch

Your Senserity account (your email address, password, and notification preferences) is shared across all organisations. Tour completion state is also shared: if you have completed the Welcome tour in one organisation, it will not re-trigger in another.

What is separate per organisation

Everything else is per-organisation:

• Watchlist
• Alerts and reviews
• Reports
• Attestation campaigns and templates
• Billing and credits
• Members and roles
• Organisation settings and preferences

Your role in one organisation has no bearing on your role in another. You might be an Owner in your primary organisation and a Viewer in a client's organisation.

If you are not a member of any other organisation

If your account belongs to only one organisation, the organisation switcher shows only that organisation. To join another, you need to be invited by an Owner or Admin of that organisation. See Inviting team members from their perspective, or ask the relevant person to invite you.

Creating a new organisation

If you need a separate organisation, for example to manage a new client engagement in isolation, sign up with a different email address at senserity.co.uk. Each email address is tied to one account, and each account can create its own organisation. New organisations start on the Free tier.
